BT e-Customer Partnership Council Forum

Decisive Media was briefed to create an online business forum to mirror face to face forums in order to reduce the delivery cost of participation for both speakers and audiences. Decisive Media created a bespoke version of its i-Cast platform enabling the audience, made up of key BT customers, to interact with the BT Global Services board, who were being webcast from a London based studio, without having to leave their country, office....even their desk.

Key interaction functionality includes public and private chat for all participants, live interactive online polling, and the ability to join the discussion and ask a question to the live studio panel. Remote speakers can join via webcam and participate with the audience and the studio panel. The platform mirrors the face to face experience for a fraction of the cost. Also integrated into the platform isa whiteboard facility and ability to stream video and present PowerPoint decks.

By using Decisive Media's innovative and bespoke interactive Webcast platform, BT's customers were able to speak directly to its board room executives, continuing the dialogue that took place at the CPC face to face events. Due to the cost efficiencies this platform delivers, BT is able to run more frequent online events allowing its key customers to have a regular dialogue with senior management. According to a BT Board Director, the use of Decisive Media's online platform saved over 10 tonnes of CO2 emissions in one meeting alone.
