Marco Limena, VP of Business Channels, Operator Channel explains why TelecomTV are such a valuable partner for Microsoft.
Decisive Media and TelecomTV played a major part in the launch of Microsoft’s Office 365 Cloud proposition to the global service provider community in June 2011.
The launch included filming and production of three roundtable discussions in Singapore, London and New York which were streamed live through TelecomTV as part of the Main Agenda Webcast series.
This was closely followed with interviews with Microsoft executives and customers as well a special TelecomTV news report covering the launch event.
Microsoft also sponsored TelecomTV’s Cloud Channel
which hosts our regular news and video insight into this exciting topic. Microsoft was able to use the Cloud channel and our dedicated Cloud channel mailers, in addition to their dedicated Microsoft Commspace, to publish editorial and promotional content.
The design team at Decisive Media were able to create a Microsoft advertising campaign for their Cloud Power proposition across TelecomTV linking back to www.microsoft.com/cloud
Since launching in July 2011, the Cloud Channel has had over 13,900 page views and 8440 visits from 3486 unique visitors. The average time on site is over 2 minutes, with each user visiting approximately 2 pages. Over 60% of our Cloud Channel viewers return regularly which indicates strong loyalty to the channel.
This complete package meant that the Decisive Media production team and the TelecomTV editorial team were responsible for creating the news and not just reporting on it.
